Dubai Municipality ran a successful social media and digital marketing campaign called "The Most Beautiful Green Front Yard Competition" which lasted for 1 month. The campaign was promoted across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter and resulted in significant increases in reach, impressions, and clicks across all channels.
Objective:
The objective of the campaign was to encourage residents in Dubai to showcase their creativity in creating beautiful green front yards, participating in the competition in order to win a prize, while promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
Idea:
To accomplish this goal, the ICON creative team developed an excellent 3D artwork demonstrating how people can make their front yards green and lovely while also adding a personal touch to city gardening. "The Most Beautiful Green Front Yard Competition" was promoted across numerous social media channels by the ICON digital team. We invited Dubai residents to enter the competition in order to win cash prizes of up to 100,000 AED.
Impact:
The campaign had a big effect in the City of Dubai across all social media channels. Reach on Facebook outperformed our KPIs by 4x, impressions by 2.6x, and clicks by 1.3x. On Instagram, reach outperformed KPIs by 5.4 x, impressions by 4.7x, and clicks by 1.62x. On Twitter, impressions outperformed KPIs by 1.8x and clicks by 2.29x.
The campaign resulted in +121 registrations and showcased the creativity of Dubai residents in creating beautiful green front yards while promoting sustainability and environmental awareness.
