Dubai Expo 2020 Visuals Design

ICON, a leading creative agency in UAE and MENA Region, was approached by  Ajman government to develop a storytelling video production for Dubai Expo 2020. The objective of the campaign was to raise awareness about the event and showcase the growth and development of the Emirate.

Objective:

The main objective of the production and story around it was to storytelling H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s inspiring story and create a strong connection to increase awareness about Dubai and showcase the growth and development of the Emirate.

Strategy:

The strategy employed by ICON was to create a narrative that showcased the rise of Dubai from a desert to a city of wonders. The team used top-quality visuals inspired by H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision and mission for the city.

Our creative team also stressed the use of pictures and quotes from H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and other leaders to showcase the foresight, vision, and ambition of the Emirate. The main theme of the campaign was "Dreams Unlimited: The Best is Yet to Come!"

Execution:

The execution of the video production involved creating stunning KVs and animations and designing top-quality visuals and CGI showcasing Dubai’s step-by-step planned progress of the city. The Video was Featured at Dubai Expo 2020, and it was implemented across multiple platforms including OOH, outdoor ads, banners, and more.

Results:

The video was a huge success it got shares and impressions that exceeded 5miliion interactions across social media and over 22 million on-spot offline views during the expo.
