Alicafe Uzbekistan and Iraq Campaign
ICON, a creative consumer-experience agency, was approached by Alicafe, a household name in the UAE and Malaysia, to help increase awareness and sales of their products in new markets such as Uzbekistan and Iraq.
Objective:
The objective of the campaign was to gauge response and build awareness for Alicafe products in Uzbekistan and Iraq, while also sustainably developing demand and appetite for the products.
Strategy:
To achieve this, ICON conducted a thorough study of the market dynamics in Uzbekistan and Iraq and formulated a digital marketing plan that was relevant and relatable to the target audience. The plan included giving pride of place to the product in all creative communications, in order to establish a direct association between Alicafe and its products – teas and coffee – in consumers' minds.
Execution:
The campaign was executed using a combination of creative design solutions, creative copywriting solutions, social media solutions, innovative technology solutions, CGI and the most innovative design techniques. ICON's team also continually monitored, reallocated, and optimized their activities throughout the campaign period to achieve 166.1% of their media plan.
Results:
The campaign was highly successful, with all efforts combined yielding 18.3M impressions, reaching 9.8M individuals, and achieving 49K clicks. Both ICON and Alicafe were impressed with the results, with the numbers far exceeding expectations.
